Mrs. Nedhal Al-Humaidan is one of the founders of Al Hekook law firm, a predominant firm in Kuwait, with more than 20 years of legal experience. She specializes in corporate and commercial law and is a renowned attorney in administrative and intellectual property disputes. She regularly represents governmental and semi-governmental entities and financial institutions before different courts. She also represents many Multinational Companies and major Corporations as a lawyer in Kuwait Court of Law.
Mrs. Al-Humaidan is a lawyer before the Cassation and the Constitutional Courts of Kuwait. She is a member on scheduled (D), of the Arbitration Center of Kuwait Bar Association since 2004. She is a member of the Lawyers Disciplinary Council since April 2005 and the Head of the Board Directors of Sabaek Leasing and Investment Company.
She acted as a legal advisor for the Vice Prime Minister of The Economic Affairs, The Minister of State for Development Affairs, and The Minister of State for Housing Affairs from 2009 to 2011. She has also acted as a legal consultant in The Ministry of Information from 1999 to 2006.
She has provided significant contributions in drafting new legislations and developing existing legislations as an adviser to various governmental entities and as a member of the national drafting committees on many important laws, such as, Civil Status Law in 1999, the Juveniles Law, and Parentage Law. Mrs. Al-Humaidan chaired the committee in Kuwait's Bar Association for preparing the Intellectual Property Law from 2003 to 2006. She also participated with numerous Wipo's experts in drafting the Intellectual Property Law of Kuwait.
Al-Humaidan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from Kuwait University. She is a visiting Professor at Kuwait University and a well known legal expert and a lecturer who has taken part in many International and Local conferences and courses.
